Mumbai Indians v Rajasthan Royals result: Rajasthan Royals wins
Rajasthan Royals started their champing in the CLT20 off to a
winning note by defeating the IPL champions Mumbai Indians.
With this win, the unbeaten home streak of Rajasthan Royals
remains intact.
Sanju Samson was the architect of the Royals’ win as he
smashed 54 runs off 47 balls with 8 fours.
It was primarily this innings that set the tone for the
successful run chase.
To add to that were the 33 important runs from Ajinkya Rahane
that came off 31 balls.
He hit 3 fours and one six.
Like Mumbai, Rajasthan also had a disastrous start to their
innings as Rahul Dravid was sent back for just a single run.
Towards the end of the innings Stuart Binny played some superb
shots to race towards victory.
He was given a good company by Shane Watson as both remained
not out on 27.
The victory came off the last over for Rajasthan Royals.
