Faisalabad Wolves v Otago result: Otago wins by McCullum knock
Captain Brendon McCullum played a captain’s knock to guide
his team Otago to a comfortable win over the Faisalabad Wolves.
Chasing 140 runs for a victory, Otago romped home to score
142 runs in 17.5 overs for the loss of just 2 wickets.
Faisalabad Wolves had earlier scored 139 runs.
Brendon McCullum scored 83 not out runs off 65 balls with 9
fours and a couple of sixes.
After Neil Broom was out on the second ball of the innings Hashim
Rutherford and McCullum took over.
They put on 41 runs for the second wicket.
However, after Rutherford was out for 25 runs in a quick fire
innings of 12 balls, there was no looking back.
McCullum along with DC de Boorder put on 101 runs for the
unbroken stand for the third wicket.
DC de Boorder scored 30 runs in 28 balls that included 2
fours and a six.
